The research that informs and constitutes the World Humanities Report has been conducted by independent research teams working throughout the world. Each team is composed of humanities practitioners and scholars who have been brought together by regional leaders.
Although the organization of these teams is geographically situated, each works and thinks on an international scale, connecting regional examples, trends, challenges, and triumphs within global contexts and experience. The organization of those teams was flexible to adapt to the local definition of the humanities and the specific realities of research in each region. The research of those teams creates the foundation of the World Humanities Report.
