Rosi Braidotti

Rosi Braidotti holds Italian and Australian citizenship, received her B.A. Degree (First Class Hons.) from the Australian National University, 1978; and a Cum Laude doctorate in philosophy from the University of Paris, Panthéon-Sorbonne, 1981. Braidotti has taught at Utrecht University in the Netherlands since 1988, when she was appointed as the founding Professor in Women’s Studies (1988-2005). From 1995 to 2005 she was the founding Director of the Netherlands Research School of Women’s Studies. She was the Founding Director of the Utrecht Centre for the Humanities (2006-2016) and is currently Distinguished University Professor at Utrecht University.
