Diego Alegria Corona

Diego Alegria Corona has a Bachelor’s Degree in English Linguistics and Literature and a Master’s in Literature from the University of Chile. He is currently a Doctoral student in English (Literary Studies) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His research interests include poetry and critique, Romanticism (British and Latin American) and their legacies in the Southern Cone, and literary theory. In poetry, he has published one book, Raíz abierta (Chile, 2015), and a bilingual chapbook, y sin embargo los umbrales / and yet the thresholds (Chile, Argentina, Spain; 2019). He has also won both national and international poetry awards.
