Julian Thomas

Julian Thomas is Council Member of the Australian Academy of the Humanities and professor of media and communication at RMIT University, where he also directs the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making and Society. His most recent book is Wi-Fi (2021). He writes about digital inclusion, the social aspects of automation, and other topics relating to the histories of new communications and computing technologies.
